Ork Kommandoz

Ork Kommandos with severe infection of Genestealer DNA. Led into battle by an exceptionally bestial Hybrid, more Genestealer than Ork.

Made by combining Ork figures with the top half of a Genesteaeler's head. The unit leader is almost entirely built from Genestealer parts.

I was inspired to build a purple lupine Hybrid by my army theme of Transformers references and wanting to represent the Decepticon Carnivac in the collection.

This was a very personal project for me as I used photographs of my recently departed best friend, Ozzy the greyhound, as a reference material to build a convincing canine anatomy for the unit leader.

This unit won the September Mini of the Month contest voted on by forum users at www.dakkadakka.com, taking more votes than the three runners up combined
